SteelDrive is on track and schedule to beta launch early December! This has been the result of a mammoth effort by our developers Buzinga, in collaboration with the SteelDrive team and our test users, thank you everyone. We’re up to build 41 of the app, it has come a long way from the demo version presented at the ALC conference only 3 months ago!
We’ve been a bit light on the public comms lately as we haven’t had a chance to stop. Over October and November we have been meeting with different site locations and bringing them on board for SteelDrive. We developed this poster that will be hung at site’s that are available in the app. As well as this Welcome Pack for drivers, and this Photo Capture Process noticeboard flyer, to make sure that all stakeholders of SteelDrive are aligned in its use on site. The Welcome Pack has been professionally printed by local print shop Colour Print Solutions and will be distributed to Phase 1 users by K&S and Toll. The Site Location poster has been printed in-house by the BlueScope Engineering Records Team at Port Kembla on industrial strength Tyvek, the value they have added with their print skills and knowledge has been greatly appreciated!
Over the past 4 weeks we have been build testing and bug fixing, we have a very stable build that we are prepping to submit for launch next week. Look out for more comms in regards to this, there will be a lot of information coming your way! We spent a morning with Buzinga this week going through the final logged bugs and niggles, it was great to get down there and see the team. Overnight we saw the result of agility in action with majority of the final bugs removed, we can’t wait for everyone to see it!
